Three important points to come and enjoy Ushuaia in November:

– Although it is high season, it is one of the quietest months since summer vacations have not yet begun.
WHAT TO DO IN USHUAIA IN NOVEMBER?
1. Trekking or hiking
This practice has increased considerably post-quarantine when people began to choose outdoor activities. Ushuaia has a wide range of hiking options both inside and outside the National Park and of different types of difficulty. There is something for everyone, easy and short ones to do with the family, even for the most demanding mountaineers.
If you do not have experience in trekking or are traveling alone, we recommend that you hire an excursion with a professional guide who will give you all the instructions so that you can enjoy this experience and provide you with a lot of information about the place.
You can also consult the official tourism portals of the province to find out the number of trails near Ushuaia, their characteristics, appropriate clothing and recommendations for good practices in the mountains.
2. Navigation to the Penguin House
This excursion is one of the most complete that can be done in the Beagle Channel and is only done in the summer when the penguins come to breed on Martillo Island. We visit the colony of imperial cormorants, sea lions and the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse as is done all year round, but then there is another hour of sailing to see from the catamaran the colony of Magellanic and Gentoo penguins that are nesting. You can do it with us and we have departures in the morning or afternoon. Lasts 5:30 h.
3. Lagos Off Road
It is a full-day excursion, it is done in four-wheel drive vans and it travels 60 km towards the north of Ushuaia passing through the winter centers, landscapes of valleys, mountains and peat bogs. You cross the Andes mountain range to observe Lake Escondido and Khami (Fagnano), then you enter through a trail in the middle of the forest. Ending the adventure with lunch in a shelter in the middle of the Fuegian forest.
4. Tierra del Fuego National Park
It is a must-see excursion if you come to Ushuaia. It is the most visited tourist attraction by tourists, it is located 8 km from the city and offers a great diversity of landscapes such as mountains, valleys, forest, rivers, lake, sea coast, among others.
It is an ideal month to enjoy the colors and aromas of flowers such as calafate, michay and sarsaparilla or discover families of birds with their newborn chicks such as families of cauquenes, a species of wild geese easy to see in the Park. You can also add the experience of taking the End of the World Train, which runs through the forest cut down by prisoners 100 years ago and will tell you their story when Ushuaia was a penal colony.
5. Helicopter flyover
One of the most exclusive experiences in Ushuaia is this. Being able to observe the landscape of Tierra del Fuego from above is an unparalleled experience and the prize is to end up descending one of the mountains to be able to toast from above.
